@lindseyl06:  Mine is an A-line (I think lol). You should make a poll!

Mine was mermaid. I think A-line is the most popular because it flatters all figures.

I mainly see A-lines on here/on friends I think. But mine is a fit and flare.

Mine is ballgown. I originally wanted a-line and I agree with Rubbs that I think that is most popular.

I think most of the weddings i’ve been to have had a-line or ballroom dresses. A couple have been fit and flare, like mine will be. I am tall and relatively slim.

@lindseyl06:  Mine’s kind of a cross between a trumpet and a modified A line; it’s very fitted to the hips, then quite fitted to mid-thigh, before flaring out. I voted trumpet as that’s closest.

I had a really tough time deciding between a fit and flare with a tiny train and an A-line with a wide slightly-bigger-than-chapel train.  In the end, I went with the A-line because I felt that, while the other hugged my curves perfectly, the A-line was a once-in-a-lifetime dress.  It’s not poofy huge, but it’s not like I’d ever wear a silhouette like it again.

When dress shopping it seemed fit and flare and mermaid styles were more common than a-line.  But maybe that’s because they look awful on me and I was grumpy about it so I remembered them more…

Honestly not sure what type mine was, but I’m guessing it was either an A-Line or Ballgown.
