Usually smoked salmon with scrambled egg on toast. I know of people who have croissants and I’d like to give pain au chocolate

My parents always made fried bread.  They ask the bakery department at the grocery store to sell them a couple balls of dough instead of the baked bread, then they fry it in a frying pan and cover it in sugar.  I imagine you could also just make bread dough but that’s not how my family rolls…

SweetBeets :  They turn out so cute!

Learn from my mistakes: spray the cookie cutter so it doesnt stick, and only fill it halfway. Mine got really fluffy really quick lol

Im thinking of using whipped cream and spinkles to decorate the trees/snowflakes this year ๐Ÿ™‚

We usually put together a platter with our favourite smoked salmon – wild caught sockeye (yum!), tomato slices, capers, bagels and cream cheese and graze over coffee and mimosas. It’s one of our favourite breakfasts and so easy to put together. We have a toddler now so it we may add her favourite breakfast of bluberry pancakes to the mix this year ๐Ÿ™‚

Btw – your profile photo makes me very excited for the new Archer season. LANA!!!

I make cinnamon rolls and have them in a pan rising in the fridge overnight. I might add a breakfast casserole to that this year, but the kids definitely know that cinnamon rolls are the tradition!

Sausage and egg casserole!

It’s lightly toasted bread (ripped up into bite sized pieces) breakfast sausage, eggs, and shredded cheddar cheese. Baked in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 F.

We dont have a breakfast tradition, though Id like one. We either stay at my sisters’ family on Christmas eve, so whatever they make or we get up early and head to his parents. The only year we were home for more than 5 seconds was when we hosted and thus just dove into cooking and forgot to make breakfast.

Getting some great ideas though !

Coffee with Tia Maria and cream, and a fruit mince pie. Not exactly healthy, but it is once a year- ha!
