    I’m not happy that there’s no left-libertarian candidate.

    I would just like the government out of my pockets, my home and my head.

    You forgot the commies! 😀

    But seriously, I vote Pirate. Hopefully by the next major election they’ll have some candidates on the federal ballot. 🙂

    I know I’m voting 3rd party, but I haven’t done all my research yet. So far, I like the Green party.

    @Beautiful Bluegrass:  Left-libertarians actually believe that their libertarian principles also mean you don’t make decisions about women’s bodies either, for example. It’s libertarian in mindset for things beyond taxation and state’s rights.

    Definite Green Party – liberal, mainly vote Democrat, but I’m a registered Independent.  (That’s a mouthful).  I’d love to see Jill Stein go somewhere, but I know that’s not realistic.

    @Beautiful Bluegrass:  It shouldn’t make sense, but most libertarians (certianly not all) aren’t actually libertarian, not really… most are just pissed off at the Republican party for the big government and statism of the Bush years and went to something that appears further right but actually isn’t. Such people have changed the face of the libertarian party.

    @catnip:

    I’ll probably go with the Greens for the upcoming election. I’ve become jaded, and realize my vote won’t matter, but I’m tired of casting my vote for the slightly less repugnant mainstream career politician.

    Weird… I just tried to post and WB is holding it as spam. I wonder what the trigger word was? 😀

    @mrsSonthebeach:  This bothers me a lot – there is a huge difference between libertarian and Libertarian.  I’m libertarian, not Libertarian, and I have never claimed to be.  Hence my pro-life stance – and yes, that means my self description of libertarian is very valid.
