Darling Husband and I teach in an international elementary school. I love the kids and their unexpected strokes of brilliance. They’re bilingual, and many know more strings of random, advanced trivia (in perfect English) than native speakers. Also, they’re like built-in, free translators. 🙂 We also love that we get to enjoy teaching (a job we feel comfortable in, is stable, and we really enjoy) in a foreign country where even day-to-day things are an adventure. It’s the best of both worlds.

I have two jobs so I will do one from each 🙂 my part time job I love that it isn’t a typical job which gives me time to do homework. My my second job is just all around fun because I get to capture memories and meet amazing people.

@bretonvirgniia: WOWZA! Your job sounds incredible. So, how often do you actually travel? I know this is kind of a silly question, but do you ever get sick of it and just want to be home?

My PTO. I’ve worked at my current job for 13 months and I’ve accured enough PTO to take 3 weeks (paid) off for my wedding and honeymoon, along with time for Christmas and Thanksgiving last year. That is the shining beacon of my job.

-I love the relationships I have with my residents, and putting a smile on their face.
-I love the fact that I only live 5 minutes away.
