I’m not likely getting one, but I’m perfectly fine with it because we’ve been together just a year.  Good luck to all of you who are waiting and ready and want one!!! πŸ™‚

I’m not getting one.  I’m ok with it.  I don’t like holiday proposals.  There’s already so much going on.  I’d rather it be one random Tuesday.

Ask me at the end of January how I feel.  πŸ˜‰  Because that’s when I’m going to start chomping at the bit.

@veryberry13:  I’m not getting one based on conversations we have had–and I am okay with it because we just bought a house! I think it will be coming by spring anyways (we have a big trip coming up then), so I can wait πŸ˜€ I hope yours is coming soon!!

Definitely not getting one this holiday season and I’m fine with that.   I plan to buy myself clothes on Cyber Monday πŸ™‚  Might get a mani before Thanksgiving as well as a haircut… we’ll see πŸ™‚

I’m not expecting one , as my SO loathes the very thought of holiday proposals. He has been telling me for years that he would never propose on a holiday. I love the thought of a romantic Christmas proposal under the tree, but it’s not in the cards for this girl. I’ll be making spa dates instead.

@veryberry13:  Also, I’d love to see your new right hand ring!

@veryberry13:  This was me last year.  FH had told me that I wasn’t getting my ring over the holidays and I really had to give myself a few pep-talks to make sure I didn’t ruin the holidays being upset about it (we were already 6 months past his ‘promised’ date).

I gave myself pep talks in the mirror to remind myself that it was okay that I wasn’t getting a ring and to gear myself up for the fact that it wouldn’t be under the tree in the morning.  I did other fun things to keep my mind off it – played games with the family, watched fun movies (stayed away from too many rom coms), played with my niece and nephew, went shopping…anything to stay distracted.  I also avoided facebook – seeing other people’s proposal announcements had a tendency to set me off.

Yeah I don’t expect a holiday proposal for Thanksgiving or Christmas or New Years…and it sucks. We will be traveling and in very romantic places but he hasn’t even asked me what type of ring I like or my size etc so I’m fairly certain a proposal is the furthest thing from his mind at this point. ugh depressing.Undecided

With the way my ering process is going, SO might get the ering by the end of next month, December. SO’s not a big fan of holiday proposals but IDK! We shall see!

I voted on the other one too, since I’m hoping, but realistically it’ll probably happen in 3-4 months.

I think I’ll disactivate facebook for the holiday season. I do NOT want to see the flood of engagement posts I suffered through last year πŸ˜›
