I don’t think I know what you mean? Like you see how much the price of the ring is?

@MerryWidow: I have seen SOOOOOOOO many peoples rings! Like some people have got engaged & I already knew where their ring came from because I have looked at every website known to man with jewelry! LOL I have seen some bees rings, too!

I don’t feel bad really. I guess its weird to know everyone’s rings cost but I wouldn’t tell anyone else where someone’s ring came from. 🙂 Their secret is safe with me!!

@MerryWidow:  I had that happen when we were buying current house.  I accidently came upon the listing for the house my friends just bought and I felt like I would prefer not know how much they spent.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean – like the price? I guess I just don’t really care. Unless they went through a jeweler to get a custom done, any ring’s price is out there waiting to be discovered.

Do you mean you’ve seen them post their ring on forums and suddenly you realize you know their username and stuff? That has never happened to me but I think it could be awkward. Or do you mean you’re shopping and you see someone’s ring on a retailer’s website so you know how much it cost? I don’t think I could ever perfectly pick out someone’s exact setting since there are so many variations on the same theme. I have a friend with a channel-set princess band, but there must be a hundred rings like that. Also I have no idea of the specs of her diamonds.

I wouldn’t think too much about it. My ring came from Kay’s and is on their website but Darling Husband made changes to it and the price listed is not what we paid. Same thing for his ring we got it for much cheaper than the website lists it as thanks to Santa Bucks…yes we used a coupon to purchase his wedding ring 🙂

@MerryWidow: Don’t feel bad, anyway are you 100% sure it’s the same ring? A lot of places will make copies of designer settings, using CZs and silver. You can even buy copies of celebrity rings. And some designers have lower-priced lines, like Tacori with its line for QVC. Maybe your friend has a gemstone & diamond ring but there’s also a site selling a similar setting in CZs?

There are millions of rings online, I couldn’t be sure it was their exact same ring.

@KatyElle: I completely agree!  Especially when it comes to popular styles that you may find several identical rings.

I’ve come across the same ring as friends have online but I don’t know their ctw or their clarity so the price and such could dramatically change from the ones I’ve seen.
