…are seriously driving me insane. My hair is fine and ridiculously prone to split ends. I only blowdry/straighten my hair a few times a week, because I know my hair just can’t handle it. I know the only way to get rid of split ends is to cut them off, but I swear I will have split ends after drying my hair the day after I get a haircut. My hair doesn’t grow quickly enough to cut it every couple of weeks. I use heat protection spray when I blowdry, but I seriously doubt whether it’s making a difference.
Anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have any tips/solutions/products?

There is a product by Schwarzkopf called Hair Therapy. It is specifically for split ends, you only use it on your ends & it acts as a sealer. Good stuff.

I just looked, it’s Hair Therapy & called “Repair Rescue.”

Sounds kinda like my hair! I try to avoid blow-drying, it usually just makes it worse. Right now my hair is quite long, I’m growing it out for the wedding, but I find that if I keep it around shoulder length I have alot less split ends.

Yes I have this problem. I got my hair cut pretty short 6 months ago (1.5 years before the wedding) Now, I dont use any heat, any straightening, any hair products. I only use a detergent shampoo twice a month and inbetween I use a non-detergent all natural (so natural you can eat it) shampoo. This has really helped. My hair doesnt look gorgeous but it is gett much healthier. If you must use heat use a heat protecting spray.

What is the all-natural shampoo? Just curious!
I shampoo and blowdry my hair daily. If I don’t, it’s oily. I wish I could go every other day, but I can’t. Thus, I have split-ends quite often. Only thing that works for me is a trim every month or two. Perhaps, somebody else will have a good solution!

EAT IT?!? What brand is that?
I like to use biosilk (which I just learned the amanda seyfried uses) silk therapy on my ends at night before I go to bed.

I use Biosilk hair serum every time I wash my hair, and if possible, never blowdry it. I had this same problem except my hair has natural waves, so it looks like poo air-dried. What I usually end up doing is leaving the serum in, air drying, and flat ironing it. I had to reduce the amount of times I wash though. :/

I have the same air-drying=poo problem too. I’m so jealous of the people who can wash it and be done.
