I have a double halo split shank but it is subtle and designed to allow a band to sit flush.   I personally like the idea of a band on top and bottom with your ring, OP.  Good luck!

We just made it official last week, so no bands yet. I’m thinking about just a simple plain band, I’d love to see some examples.

Heres my princess cut split shank Verragio. I love split shanks but I’m worried about finding a wedding band that will look good with it. I don’t necessarily want the matching band so I’m looking for other options  🙂  pictures a bit blurry..sorry

I love the mis-matched look, but just didn’t think it would work with my ring. I have the matching band that is contoured (ever so slightly – you can barely tell there’s a curve when looking at the wedding band alone, funnily enough). Sometimes I feel like it blends a little, but I don’t mind. I think I much prefer that to having something that doesn’t match the style and feel of my engagement ring.

Happy band hunting!
