@almostfantasy:  Oooh hair extensions!  I thought about them in the beginning but my hair has actually grown out pretty well!

I want to but am not splurging on: getting professionally waxed all the way around for the wedding and Honeymoon, and I REALLY REALLY REALLY want the David Tutera diamond place card holders… but Fiance would kill me.

There’s a lot of things I would LOVE to splurge on…fancier invitations (ours are pretty minimal/simple from Vistaprint), a nicer venue for the reception (ours is in our church basement)…but at the same time, I’m happy with our lower ($5,000) budget and know we’re going to have an awesome wedding regardless!

I love flowers, so I wish I had a lot more of them…I cut down on that aspect so we could spend more on food/venue. I may just get some from Sam’s Club or a grocery store, get roses and just put vases everywhere!

Buying a Kenneth Pool or Lazaro dress, I just love them but can’t justify spending that much money on them, *sigh*

Dress. I would love to wear an expensive designer dress, but there is no way I would spend thousands of dollars on something to wear for less than a day, even if we can afford it.

I almost splurged on really fancy (12.00 a piece) invitations. They were just so gorgeous. I got so upset over the amount of money I was spening I went the complete opposite side and did super cheap invites from Vista print for less than 1.00 each.. I kind of regret that but oh well. I could’ve affored something in the 3-5.00 range.
Instead I’m taking elements from the fancy invitations and using them in my menus and place cards at the reception.

First class airfare to our destination wedding.  I’d love to splurge on that but we will be just fine in coach.

Dress was #1 for me. I’m only wearing it for one day so I didn’t really see the point in a super expensive dress, you can find alot of styles in smaller price points.

haha hair extensions. i’m purposefully growing my hair out as much as possible to avoid those (taking biotin and fish oil bc they are good for your hair!)

i’m going cheap on the flowers. they are pretty but they die right away so I’m like “whats the point” plus the baby’s breath bouquets for my Bridesmaid or Best Man will still look absolutely beautiful at a fraction of the cost.

@almostfantasy:  BOTOX! haha. I have some fine lines in my forehead… nothing serious, but I’d botox ’em away if I had the extra cash lying around.
