Those babies are nice. I went with some pumps from DSW.  The shoes are not that big of a deal to me.

Beautiful! Mine are from DSW. I suggest doing house chores in the shoes once or twice a week, sound crazy but it will break them in without wearing them out. Add inserts or heel grips if need be. They can be stretched too, keep in mind your feet will swell during the day if you are not used to heels.

I’m going the Lououtin route as well! My favorite pair was discontinued (heartbreak) so I’m on the hunt again. I definitely want some glitter on them, though. 🙂

Make sure you practice standing in them for however long you anticipate your ceremony being. I was at a wedding recently where the bride kept shifting every two seconds – turns out that she didn’t realize how painful her shoes were to just stand in. :c

They are beautiful! I wanted to go with Louboutins but I didn’t love any enough for my wedding day.

I chose these from Badgely Mischka:

buttaflybride:  I love my shoes more than my dress. I’ve also been wearing them to do housework.. although should warn you to be extra careful if you wear them to wash up, I splashed mine 🙁

buttaflybride:  LOVE those!! I considered Loubs, but they always hurt my feet so bad 🙁 Yours are gorgeous enough to be worth it even if they do hurt, though. I ended up getting a pair of Jimmy Choos that I’ve wanted for awhile! To break them in I’m just wearing them around the house a bunch. It has taken a ton of self control not to wear them out!

buttaflybride:  congrats!! Are they comfortable? I want CLs as well but heard they are incredibly uncomfortable so now I’m having second thoughts beacause I plan on dancing my ass off all night!

I love those!!!

Wear them around the house.  See if you can add a little gel insert on the toe pad (not sure if you can with these because they’re sheer and it might make it too tight around the toes).

If they are SUPER uncomfortable after an hour or so of standing, I’d take them to a quality cobbler and see if they can add a cushion in.

Those babies are GORGEOUS!!!

One day I plan on owning a black pair. Unfortunately, my Fiance is only about 2 inches taller than me so flats it is.

Louboutins!! I love them! If I saved more of my budget for shoes, I would have considered Louboutins too!

I ended up going with Betsey Johnson!

I’ve never ‘broken in’ a new pair of heels. I generally wear them around the house for a bit to be sure I like them as much I did in the store, and then I wear them outside. Sometimes they’re comfortable right off the bat, other times it takes a few wears… Wearing them inside for a bit tends to be enough in my experience.

One thing I did do with my shoes before the wedding was wear them to about 5 of our dance lessons. I wanted to be 100% comfortable dancing in them, I’ve got the walking thing down at this point..

These beauties were a splurge for me…Kate Spade Charm. I wore them around in my apartment for a few weeks before the wedding to break them in. I wore a ball of foot cushion during the big day.
