We are sponsoring some familiy members from Kenya to the US for our wedding.  We found all the information on the US embassy websites.  If it is the same process for Canada then your visitors will have to fill out some forms and make an appointment to visit the canadian embassy in their country.  From what I just looked at then people from Australia would not need a visa but the people from India would need one. Here is a website you can check out: http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/visaapplication.html.  Hope that helps! Good Luck!!

No they have to do it on their own, however you need to read what is required as far as documentation.  You may have to send them an invitation of course but then also some documentation saying you are responsible for them financially, if that is the case or where they are staying, etc.  Also, the earlier the better for the chances of the visa….something my fiance just can’t seem to understand for his family 🙂
