@FutureArmyWife12:  I do use the daily facial cleanser (so does Olivia Wilde, famous for not wearing foundation on the red carpet), and I have NEVER had it dry out my face (and everything dries out my face!)

@FutureArmyWife12:  Personally, I would recommend tea tree oil over a new face wash, but that’s just me! Chances are you will be totally fine, especially if you dilute it. I have extremely sensitive, acne prone skin, and it’s very gentle. My rule of thumb is to test out ANY kind of new product on a different part of my skin before I put it on my face, just to clarify why I said that.

And for what it’s worth, Cetaphil breaks me out a lot. But again, that’s just me and my picky skin. Everything will work different for different people ๐Ÿ™‚ Good luck and I hope your skin clears up for you!

If it’s a really bad more deep one, I swear by Mario Badesco’s Buffering Lotion (it has sulfur; I buy it at Ulta). For just an awful pimple I want gone or less raised and red, crush up aspirin with water so it’s a paste.

@FutureArmyWife12:  i havent had one skin problem since i started using honey. just cheapy squeezy stuff from the store! just literally wet the face, squeeze honey into your hand and wash like you normally would then rinse off. once twice a week i add half a teaspoon of sugar (mix it in palm of hand) for an exfoliant. cheaps as chips!

@FutureArmyWife12:  Origins has a spot treatment with 2% sacilic acid and it works very well for me.  Its called spot remover.  Its $13 I think.

@FutureArmyWife12:  For shallow (as in near the surface) pimples, i.e. not cysts, I swear by Vichy Normaderm Anti-Imperfection spot treatment – it is so effective and non-aggressive.  I love it.

That’s for pimples that have already popped up.  For burgeoning pimples that you can feel starting to form but haven’t yet, I find that the Garnier Anti-Blemish pen will nip it in the bud.
