It didn’t happen to me, but for your piece of mind I would go into a hospital and get it checked out now. Hope it is all ok!

Personally I haven’t had it. But my Aunty has had this through out her pregnancy (after a few miscarriages) and ended up having two perfectly healthy twins!

So sorry you saw spotting! I know how terrifying it can be. As for me, I have had everything from spotting to full blown, bright red blood. It happened when I was between 6-8 weeks and they never found a reason for it. It freaked me out as I had a previous miscarriage, but all was well with baby. While spotting can freak you out, sometimes it just happens. My OBGYN said 80% of pregnant women will have some type of spotting/bleeding and go on to have a healthy pregnancy. I am now 13 weeks and everything is fine! Good luck πŸ™‚

I spotted with my son at 9 weeks and everything was fine. I had recently had sex and more than likely its ehat caused the spotting

I had spotting…I think up to around 15-16 weeks.  I know that it’s scary (the first time I saw it, it was a week after my positive pregnancy test and I lost my s%&# in a public bathroom…not pretty), but it is usually normal.  A lot of woman actually spot after sex, just because, or when their period is normally due.  This is one of the reasons why there are so many woman who don’t know that they are pregnant; they spot so significantly, that they think they are just having a light period.

It’s good that you’re going to the doctor about it because it will make you feel better.

I know that my doctor told me that unless it is accompanied by a serious, significant amount of bright red blood and “the worst cramps you’ve ever had”, that it was nothing to worry about…although, she wanted me to tell her when it happened…so I just kept a note of it in the book that I take to my appointments.

I just past 21 weeks and all looks great for me and Baby.  Try to do your best to relax.  I know it’s difficult.  πŸ™‚

I don’t bleed everytime but occasionally I do during sex.  I also had some spotting after a bowel movement.  My OB said that the cervix is sitting closer to the outside now and becomes more sensitive.  I too was stressed out until I went to the doctor.  They did tell us no sex for 48 hours.  So no fooling around for a couple days… give your cervix a break

I spotted at 7 weeks and 9 weeks pregnant, I am now 29 weeks pregnant πŸ™‚ It’s pretty common to spot that early because your body is going through so many changes and hormones are all over the place. My Dr. said my spotting was due to something on the placenta but it just cleared out on its own. I bet your just fine! but give us an update anyway.

@BabyEtobe:  Yay! So happy to hear that everything is fine! I hope it’s not a UTI though πŸ™‚
