Sometimes your body changes.

After I was on Alesse for many successful months, suddenly I got ‘breakthrough bleeding’ and the doc got me on a new pill.  She said if you spot then it means that it’s not got the right levels for your body.

has your lifestyle changed at all?  gained weight?

If it happens again next cycle, definitely check with the dr.

@roxy821:I have been on the patch for almost 2 years now.  I would say after a month everything was perfect.  No spotting, started same time/day.  But then now, every few months I might have a little spotting a week before I am expected to start or I may be a little lighter than normal on my start date or a little heavier.

I know I’ve not been on mine as long as you but I guess for me I think it’s normal to have occassional break through or little changes once in awhile.
