I think rest is really the only thing you can do about that… just try and stay off that side, I guess. Hopefully you can reschedule your test?

Wow that’s awesome. I mean, not awesome…but you’ll laugh one day 🙂

I’m sure you could explain to the PT instructor of your situation? They may take that into consideration. Can you do anything, physically? Or does it just hurt too much?

Ouch! Maybe you should take an epsom salt bath.

@Mrs Hedgehog: weirdddd…so, you technically should be okay in PT, right? Unless they have you do squats…then you’re screwed :/

I strained 2 muscles in my butt when I was a cheerleader in college. The strained muscles I had made it hurt to walk, so I had to do some physical therapy (it was free, so why not)…I would put ice on it. It will be really uncomfortable, but it will really take some of the soreness out. You might be feeling it a little more as time progresses.

I had to get iced after practice and did some physical therapy with stretches with ice afterwards. I only had to do 2 sessions and I was back to normal after a few days.

haha, wow you’re talented.

seriously though, that sucks, trying icing then applying a heating pad to the area? If it’s really bad go to the Doc, they can give you some stronger pain meds.
