I am wondering if you think it would work if I lightly spray painted my veil with some shimmery spray paint? I have a plain white veil but want to add a little sparkle to it, but not with rhinestones or anything.
I was thinking about going and buying a cheap $10 veil from Michaels to see how it looks before I did it on my actual veil. But wondering if anyone else has done it?

They actually sell a light glitter fabric spray at most craft stores. I used it for xmas stockings 🙂 that would probably work. It was just like a dusting not super thick.

I personally wouldnt want to risk any of that paint getting on the dress eventually. I have a tshirt that has some type of glitter spray and eery time I wear it it transfers glitter all over my hair, hands, jeans..
I know you dont want rhinestones but you could use a metallic thread to “finish” the edges or add beads maybe”

Definitely try it on a $10 veil before yours! You don’t want to ruin it! But it sounds like it could be a good idea 🙂

I am worried the glitter might look dark in photos–a lot of time glitter photographs like scattered dirt. You might get some small Swarovski clear crystal rhinestones and glue a few of those scattered on the veil. Swarovskis will photograph sparkly because they are made so well, but other cheaper rhinestones might also appear dark in photos. Just don’t use hot glue if you do put some rhinestones on, use something like a tiny dab of E6000.
