Airbrush! Bed tanning before the age of 30 increases your risk of skin cancer by 70%. That is serious business! Aibrush tans look great and last about 10 days with no icky wrinkles, spots, dry skin etc. (PS I’m very fair and they look completely natural as long as you realize you will never be a deep bronze and pick a lighter tan 😉 )

I would definitely test it out before the wedding, but if it’s just for fun spray tan’s the way to go! :o)

I vote spray tan, too! I’m fair skinned, too, and I just think that tanning beds aren’t worth the risk of cancer later in life. I vote for spray tan (or lotion).

If you get a spray tan, you can also ask your technician to “contour” your arms a bit – wonderful idea for sleeveless dresses 🙂 Also, nothing makes a dress POP like a beautiful, tanned background! Something a lot of people don’t think about is that many tanning solutions are actually good for your skin, and make your skin soft and smooth. Definitely a nice treat for the honeymoon 🙂

Unles you want premature aging and possibly skin cancer stay away from tan beds

I’d rule out the tanning bed – I’m not sure the risks outweigh the result – even if at worst you get burnt it’s still not worth it – ESP if you’re going to do it a few days before the wedding!
I’ve only had a spray tan once but it was really good and I’ll more than likely do it again for the wedding. The things I liked about it was that it was very even (unlike DIY tanning!) and that it looked really nice in photos – I still looked like myself just a little healthier! Hehe! I’m very pale and I was worried I’d end up looking like a carrot or go really dark but the woman assured me that how dark you go depends on your natural skin tone and the end result was lovely! I’ll definitely do it for the wedding, very subtle and lovely! I went topless (which WAS somewhat awkward) but my dress had spaghetti straps and I didn’t want any tan lines. Also, the smell was a bit icky and I had to keep it on overnight before washing it off which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep but it was worth it!
