I have an aversion to tanning beds for the obvious reason of the risk to health. I’m more sensitive to sunlight anyway due to a skin condition. So I am wanting to get a spray tan before the wedding to even out tan lines and weird complexion issues. I’m worried about two things: my tan rubbing off on the dress and looking orange. I’ve only ever had a spray tan on just my arms and face (it was free!) but I liked how it looked. I’m just not sure how I can be sure I won’t look orange if I have it done 2 days before the wedding. Suggestions?

I do lots of spray tans. First, yes, it will most likely rub off on your dress. Especially if you sweat. Secondly, you should do a practice run. Otherwise, you risk being orange. You honestly can’t know if that particular solution will turn you orange without trying it. I do Mystic and it doesn’t turn me orange at all. And I’m very fair complected. I’ve also had someone airbrush me, which I’m doing for my own wedding, and that came out beautifually as well.

definitely do a few trial runs with different solutions/companies, and take notes on how it acts on you.
