I am super pale and much prefer the way I look tan. I got a custom spray tan (where a woman sprays you) last week, and I LOVED the way it looked. I want to do it for the wedding, but the only problem was that the color on my face faded super fast and didn’t look as even as the rest of my body. By the end of the second day, my face was a lot lighter than my body.
I’m getting professional airbrush makeup for the wedding, so maybe it’s no big deal to match the shade of my foundation to the rest of my body? Or will that look super fake? Any other brides who spray tan have this problem?

I continue to apply self tanner the following day(s) to my face so it stays even. But yeah I would definitely match your foundation to your body/neck as I am sure your pretan foundation is too light anyways. Your makeup artist should have lots of shades.

My face is naturally a few shades lighter than my neck/body and the best way to deal with it is to match foundation to the skin on your jawline/forehead other wise you have an obvious foundation line at your hairline. You then use bronzer/a darker powder to darken the areas where the sun naturally hits your face. Your make-up artist will have no problems making you look totally natural if she’s an experianced professional. There are also single use self-tanner wipes that are meant for your face but I haven’t used them personally.
