I personally don’t like the booths. If I were to do one again I would go to someone who actually does the spaying by hand.

I feel like I always comment on the tanning threads lol… But I do tan/ use spray tans so I feel informed. I personally am not a huge fan of the spray booths ( versa spa, mystic tan) because no matter how hard you try… You can still end up spotty @ your hands, feet and knees. I did a spray tan applied by a professional by hand, and I recommend that. I think it was $35 or so, but worth it! My suggestion would be to have it done 2-3 days prior to your wedding because it gives the color time to look more natural. Here is me RIGHT AFTER getting a spray tan… Intense much?! Lol ( I’m in hot pink , middle)  Now… This was 2 days before the wedding and I used a lot of lotion to preserve the color & on the wedding day it had faded to a much more natural color:  If a booth is what you are set on doing, versa spa ( at sun tan city where I live) is the best IMO. hope this helps!!!

I got a spray tan for my wedding (and I did a trial before my shower too).  I had someone airbrush me…… I wouldn’t trust a booth – it’s better if someone does it by hand so they can see what they’re doing and make sure it’s even and applied everywhere.  It’s a little awkward at first, but it comes out much better.  My Maid/Matron of Honor went with me for the trial and she did the versaspa booth – it came out good, but when we went again for my wedding, she upgrated to the airbrush and said it lasted so much longer and was much more even.

@Mrs_Amanda:  lol that made me laugh.  I have a picture of me right after my first airbrush tan also and i happen to be standing in front of our wood entertainment unit and i sort of blend right into it.  DEFINITELY intense!  But by day 2 & 3, much more natural.  I agree with everything you said as well!
