Yup, already shared and have had friends share already last night.

Skepticals like me. Just google, it’s a true story.

So sad.

I can’t even imagine the living nightmare those parents are in right now.

Oh I hope she is found safe… heartbreaking.

Ugg.. been following the story! Praying it is not another Casey Anthony type story. For some reason the baby always looks kinda sad 🙁 Hopefully its just a mix of pictures and expressions they had!

@penguinsaremyfriends:  I think the article implies that detectives told her she failed in an effort to pressure her into confessing.  It’s a tatic, as they search for leads.

I live in Kansas City so I’ve been following this since day 1. Most of the local opinion is that the parents are involved or know something. Whether they did something on purpose or it was an accident they are trying to cover up, they (at least 1 of them, maybe both) know something that they aren’t telling.

  • They say the kidnapper also stole their cell phones? What kind of kidnapper takes time to steal cell phones?
  • They say the lights were on when the father got home. What kind of intruder turns the lights on?
  • The mother says she was sleeping the whole time. But there was a call made from her cell phone at 2:30 am. What kind of kidnapper would make a phone call from a stolen phone? Everyone knows you can trace the cell phone pings.
  • The father got home at 4:30 am from work. Why didn’t he have his cell phone with him?
  • Why did the parents add “they took our phones SO WE WOULDN’T BE ABLE TO CALL 911“? Stressing the reason why the phones were taken seems like they are fabricating a story.
  • A 10 month old is 30 pounds? That’s off the charts, well above the 99th percentile. I’d think a responsible loving parent would know how much their baby weighs.
  • The mother said that someone might have “wanted a baby so kidnapped Lisa”. But wouldn’t someone kidnapping a baby to try to claim as their own kidnap a newborn?

The whole thing is just very very fishy…

@abbyful: I also saw something about the mother failing a polygraph. Not that those are reliable/evidence in court, it doesn’t show well for her/them.

ETA- just read more in an article on it. It’s super sad, I hope that whatever happened, they find the baby and figure out the events of the night.

@Eva Peron: I thought the same thing when I first heard about it. I live a couple hours away from Kansas City so it is big news around here. We were talking about it at work a couple days ago when they said in the paper that the parents have stopped working with the police.

@abbyful: I agree 100% on your thoughts. I think the parents might have had something to do with it.

Edit: My 16 month old is 25lbs and 2′ 7 in. This girl must be really big for her age.
