As someone that is VERY prone to a coldsore outbreak (once, my dr told me that I get them worse than she has every seen), I can tell you that YES you can spread them to other areas. It hasnt happened to me, but you need to be very careful. Dont use the same towel/washcloth as you use on your face in other “areas” and keep your hands clean. You are probably just imagining the itch down there though since you are thinking about it!

You can but the chances of you spreading it on TP are so unlikely.  You would have to have broken skin down there to transmit the virus; and/or you would have to exchange fluids which you didn’t.  I wouldn’t worry about it!

You can take supplements to help heal it faster. L-Lysine in 1000mg tablets can be taken up to 3x a day each day until it heals, you can also take 1 1000mg tablet a day everyday as a preventitive. While you have the outbreak, taking Vitamin C(500-1000mg) and Zinc(50mg) tablets also will help. You can buy Vitamin E oil or if you can’t find it buy the gel capsules and open one, put the oil on the sore it will protect it, soothe the ache/itch and also speed the healing.
