@sunkissed19:  I just listed everything I could think of and then put the vendors in the top line and listed each cost individually then added them at the bottom.

Warning this will get ugly fast! After months of playing numbers I said F this and cut my head count to 18 for a destination wedding. House and vacation trump 5 hour party.

This is pretty much what I did, too – I had a column for venue name, address, distance from home, distance from hotels, what was included, what wasn’t included, maximum guest count, food estimates, bar estimates, fees, etc. Anything I could think of.

@dewingedpixie:  SO jealous. I wanted an elopement with just immediate family/really close friends present. I got shot down :/ I have a “screw this wedding planning crap!” moment at least once a week haha.

this is what i did too.  break all of the venues down by costs, location, amenities, etc.

@HeyKaraoke:  We are footing the whole bill. There for we get to decide how this shin dig goes down. One of my aunts wasnt pleased but I really dont care.  They can either foot the bill and I’ll invite them all or we do it my way which is less stress, more enjoyable, less money, and less political game.
