@regberadaisy:  i’m officially getting to the point where i don’t want to be prenant anymore! 2 1/2 more weeks to go is what i keep saying! i told DH that i will cry to the doctor if i have to, in case i dont go by my due date, for him to induce me.

Sitting here 40 weeks + 3 and I feel like she’s never coming out! Congrats to all the new mommas, you make me so excited and I feel like I can wait a little bit longer! I have been 2-3cm dilated for 2 weeks now and nothing really to show for it – no major contractions. Just waiting, waiting, waiting wondering if my body even KNOWS how to go in labor!

@bostonbride1075:  You’ll get your baby soon.  Hang in there!  …and try to enjoy any sleep you can get in the meantime.  You may never get any ever again 😉

37 weeks + 4 days!

As of this morning I am 2 cm dilated and 70% effaced. Baby has dropped. 🙂

And oh, I tested positive for Group B Strep.

so i’m finally making *some* progress. 1 cm dilated as of my appointment today. as much as i know that being dilated doesn’t necessarily mean labor, it was becoming a slightly disheartening not having any progress…now i know why some people decline the checks.

when the doctor came in i think he could tell i was tired/uncomfortable/ready to be done. he told me that after next week(39 weeks) he will induce me if i want. a part of me wanted to yell ‘YES! lets schedule this thing now!’ but then another part was like ‘no i can handle this and wait’ DH wants to wait…’let things happen naturally, how they are supposed to’ i wanted to smack him lol so we’ll see how i’m feeling next thursday before we decide anything. it’s kind of crazy thinking that i can have my little boy in my arms start next weekend(if not sooner, depending on if he wants to make his appearance au natural and on his own schedule)

and it’s funny how being pregnant, one day is a big deal. from the beginning, i swear, the doctor said my due date is April 27th…well today he said you’re due two weeks from today on the 26th….now a day isn’t a big deal..but really!? i’m one day closer?! lol

Doctor’s appt yesterday, still 3cm dilated and 70% effaced. They said this probably would not change until I had contractions. They are scheduling my induction for this Tuesday, the 17th at 8am ( I was due April 8th). Just ready to get the party started! I am not feeling any bigger or overly uncomfortable, although I feel very “sore” when I wake up. It’s very similar to working out  lot and then having sore muscles. The baby girl keeps moving around in there and doesn’t want to come out!

Wow…I have missed so much! Congratulations to all of the new mommas!

At my 38 week appointment on 3/22 it was determined that I would be induced. Baby girl’s measurements were behind (her head measurement was behind a week and her body measurements were behind 3/4 weeks, according to ultrasound). I was labeled with IUGR (Intrauterine growth restriction) and the doctor believed that my placenta was fizzling out. Sad times!

I was induced on March 26th and Lydia Ann was born at 11:06pm that evening! (5 lbs, 15 oz- 19 ½ inches)
