Yikes, I don’t, I’m sorry. My mom didn’t wear a veil, unfortunately. I love that you’re wearing your mom’s.

Not sure about the OxyClean. Maybe pick up a little tulle at the craft store to test before doing it? As for the circlet, I like that you’re trying to rehab/modernize it. Michael’s and other craft stores have great jewelry-making sections these days. I wonder if you can pick up some add-ons there?

Good luck! My mother gave me the pearls she wore at her wedding. They’re cheap and out-of-date, so I’m using them in my bouquet (her suggestion). I love having that “something borrowed” with me.

I love it!

I have no idea about cleaning it though… is the color that far “off” that you’d need to clean it?

Believe it or not, Claires (yes, the tweeny-store found in malls) has a lot of flowers that look like that.

I wore my moms veil that had been poorly stored since the 70’s! It had burn holes and ripped tulle. It was in a hellish state. My seamstress soaked it in the tub, not sure with what though. She then cut out the tulle that was in good state, re-applied the lace flowers that she cut out of the bad tulle, sewed the lace back on the edge, and it was good as new!!

The changes took it from a two tier cathedral veil with a terrible flower comb to a a full veil that fell just under my hips. I loved using my moms veil. Good luck with yours!
