Have you looked at Michael’s. I think they are around $10 and if you signed up for their coupons (through the website) and had friends/relatives do the same, you could get them for 40% off, but you’d have to buy them 1 at a time. They also give you a coupon every time you buy something – on the back of the receipt. If you had 5-6 people doing it, you could get it done. I know it’s a pain, but I think it’s worth it to save the $.

Ikea has inexpensive square vases if there is one anywhere near you. You can check out what’s available on their website.

If you have a Crate & Barrel outlet store anywhere near you, that is a really good place to check as well.

When all else fails…try Walmart.  I bought 20 square vases for our engagement party.  They didn’t have enough of the type I wanted so I bought 14 the same and 6 which were slightly different.  Once the flowers were in, I couldn’t tell.

You may try looking for wholesale floral supply stores in your area.
There is a place in Dallas that has them and including shipping it’s $300ish for 48 of them. http://www.dfwvases.com

Good luck!

My sister and I are using square vases for her short centerpieces and we found them at the Dollar Tree. They don’t sell them online but they do have them in some of the stores. She bought 20 of them last night.

I am attaching a photo she took in Dollar Tree =) [attachment=677009,88014]

EDIT: They also have a variety of vases at IKEA

OMG, honey you were SO me about 6 months ago!Finding tall sqaure vases was the bane of my exsistent! And yes, I found great deals and it was more if not the same amount of $$ to have them shipped. I can’t believe how difficult it is to find sqaure, not rectangular, vases over 4 ft tall!!

I found mine (which were 6x6x6) at a glass wholesaler in Dallas, i picked them up so no shipping and got them for $6 each!!!

My suggestion is do ALOT of research to see if you have glass wholesalers in your area. Also, if you have a Garden Ridge, they had a good selection of square vases, they were just a little more then i wanted to spend (about $16 each.)

Michales does have some but I think the largest I found was a 3x3x3, but if you don’t mind them being tapared at the bottom, I think they do have a 5x5x4 or 3ish, but bear in in mind that the base will obviously be smaller since its tapered.

Also, check craigslist because you never know!

have you checked if there’s a CB2 (crate and barrel’s inexpensive sister store) near you? or a dollartree? have you checked Target? Walmart?

Or have you considered branching out from strict vases? http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=13132739 these containers would work as vases if you took the tops off, and they’re only $7 each 🙂

Or something like these, http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=16885789&RN=58&KSKU=121267 , although they’re a little smaller than you said you’re looking for.

I don’t think Dollar Tree has them online, but I saw some square ones there but they are only like 3x3x3.  Those are great for a small pillar candle.  The 4x4x4 and larger are big enough for a small centerpiece and are very hard to find for a low price.  Save-on-crafts has them but I’m not sure about their shipping.

@crebre…I am always looking for a deal =)

@kmfield….Oh…I saw some larger square vases for $3 & $4 at Wal-Mart. I am assuming it’s something seasonal b/c I haven’t seen them int here previously and I don’t see them online.
