I shouldn’t be pregnant, but Darling Husband and I fudged the rules a teeny bit during my last fertile week (we abstain during the fertile period when we’re tta). Anyway, I got my period, I thought, but it was a bit lighter than usual and my chart isn’t following it’s usual patterns for the pre-O time. I figured it couldn’t hurt to test and just be sure that it was a wonky cycle and nothing else. We had to put off ttc for a couple months, so a BFN would be fine.
Here’s a pic…it was pretty negative except when I tilted it one way and then there was a line, but I’m not sure if it’s a “real” line or just a cheapo HPT line. If I actually was pregnant, I’d be about 18dpo which is why I highly doubt I am since there’s practically nothing here. But y’all are the experts, so I decided I’d ask you!

@CoffeeBeanKate: That photo is pretty tiny – can you upload a bigger one?

@CoffeeBeanKate: The picture is REALLLY small, but I don’t think I see anything. I would think 18 dpo, if you know for sure when you Od, the line would be clear on even the cheapest test.

I see a VERY faint line, but I wouldn’t trust one that light on a cheapo. Plus, at 18 dpo I would think it should be darker. If I were you I’d try a FRER to ease your mind.

@CoffeeBeanKate: I used the same cheapie at 12dpo and there was no doubt there was a dark line. I think this is a negative, have fun this weekend :))

looks negative to me… I think I see the line you are talking about, but it doesn’t look like a positive line to me, either an evap line or a like difference in the test strip where the line should be (if that makes sense, not an actual line but like a small depression or something on the actual strip itself?).

@CoffeeBeanKate: Sorry, but I’m not seeing anything either. I’d say its negative.

@wandering_gypsy: That’s what I thought too, a “fake” line.
Glad everyone agrees it’s negative. While I would LOVE to get pregnant right now (haha!) it’s just not good timing for Darling Husband as he’s still working through the “I’m new at my job and what if I get fired? How can I support a baby???” We’re almost out of that stage, I think 🙂
