@b00kbug: I think it depends on a number of factors, such as, how you will be wearing your hair, what type of veil and/or tiara/headpiece you will have, what type of beading is on your gown, how long/large/ornate your earrings are, and, believe it or not, how long of a neck you have, etc.  Can you post some pics of your gown and accessories and let us know how you plan to wear your hair? For the record, I wore a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline, dangle earrings, a crystal headband set at an angle like a tiara, and a veil, and I had my hair in an updo, sort of Audrey Hepburn style, and my gown had a small, diamond-shaped cluster of crystals in the center of the bust, so I did not wear a necklace.

Oooh! I love the way you think you may wear your hair.  That is gorgeous! I also love the bracelet you’ve selected!

Here are some thoughts.  Because your gown has bling at the waist, and your veil is a fingertip veil with a lace edge, and because you are leaning toward a long, dangle earring, I am going to recommend that you not also wear a necklace.

However, if you do decide that you want to wear one, I would consider a single strand of the pearl and crystal necklace (if it’s available that way — I think the double strand would be too much).  If you do wear the necklace, you also should go with a shorter earring, such as the third pic you posted.  I think that the longer, more elaborate necklaces are too much for your dress and other accessories. They, and the other two necklaces that I do like more (the single drop and the graduated five-stone necklace) would present you with the challenge of having to make sure they were perfectly straight throughout your entire ceremony and reception so that they look the way they should in pics.  That would not be an easy task.

May I ask where you bought your earrings? (second photo)  I’ve been looking for ones exactly like that!

I think dangle earrings with the necklace would be too much. If you really want to wear a necklace, I think you should consider a stud earring instead. But I love all of those jewelry choices!

I’m not wearing a necklace with my strapless because my dress has a bit of bling just under the bust that I want to “say it all.” I am however wearing a bracelet and earrings that have some dangle.
