We are honeymooning in St. Lucia for 10 days in November.  I think time of year makes a big difference on price – it low season when we are going and we will be spending $6200 for airfare and 10 days of accommodations (6 of which are at the all inclusive Sandals La Toc, and 4 of which are at the Hotel Chocolat on the southern end of the island).  We could have gone much cheaper at Sandals, but we wanted the upgraded room with butler service.

I will say, when i was researching destinations, St. Lucia definitely seems to be one of the most expensive Caribbean islands.  Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico are much cheaper, as is the Mayan Riviera in Mexico.

Yes!  We got an all-inclusive 7 night stay at La Toc for a total of $4800.  It is definitely expensive, in my opinion.  I have gone to 7 night all-inclusives in Jamaica, DR, and the Bahamas for around $1000 per person just a few years ago.  My Fiance nearly hit the floor when he heard the price.  But I said hey it’s my honeymoon, we’ll never do this again.

I’m debating whether or not to do Couples Swept away in Negril, Jamaica, or Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia.

We are going in March, and the entire trip for a 5-night stay and air fare for both of us comes to just under $4000. (So $2000 a person.)

I’m honeymooning for a week at Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia. We are paying about $6,400 for 7 days with Butler service, and airfare included. Definetly splurged, but hey, you only honeymoon once! I loved the fact that you could go to the other two Sandals resorts on the island to hang out at their beaches and eat at the resteraunts, all at no extra charge. St. Lucia is defently pricier than other islands, because it’s beauty rivals that of Hawaii, with it’s majestic mountain peeks, waterfalls and volcanoes. Still cheaper than Hawaii though.
