Yes I have been to Cap Maison. It’s beautiful, but quiet. And I mean library quiet. The beach is very small, and you have to walk down a very steep set of stairs to get to it. I think it would be ok for a day or two, but I couldn’t stay longer than that without getting bored.<!–?xml:namespace prefix = “o”

pixelpisces:  If you want to do a destination wedding in St Lucia, I would check out Sandals. We have had several friends get married at the resorts there (there are several) and all of them said it was simple, easy, and amazing.

My Fiance were thinking about getting married in St Lucia at a Sandals ourselves but decided on Sandals Grand Antigua instead because of the residency requirement.

Yes, there is a residency requirement in St Lucia. You have to be there 72 hours NOT INCLUDING WEEKENDS. We only wanted to stay 9 days and didn’t want to get married at the end of our trip (we would have had to get married on day 5 or 6) so we decided on Antigua where you only have to be there 48 hours (not including weekends).

But we have heard NOTHING but great things about all the Sandals in St Lucia and Antigua. I should pount out that they are not cheap, but remember that Sandals is all-inclusive so you don’t have to pay for food or alcoholic drinks and there is no tipping!

Good luck to you!!
