My wedding band just came in and I’m so excited!
Do you wear your wedding band below your ering (near the base of your finger) or above (near the knuckle)? Does it matter?
My set for reference:

I’ve always heard that the wedding ring should be at the base of the finger because it’s closer to the heart (social construct, not science). I don’t think it really matters, but I generally see wedding bands at the base of the finger, and engagement rings on top. I’ll likely do that as well.
Your set is beautiful, by the way! The rope detail on your band adds a lot of interest and texture.

Your wedding band is supposed to go on your finger first, then your e-ring.

I always thought it was wedding band and then engagement ring, that’s how I wear mine. Darling Husband was looking at my hand the other day and asked me why wasn’t the other way around because he thought that they were supposed to stay in the order he put them on me in lol.

meandmrbee15: Wow!! Your set is gorgeous!! I love how they look together. Your band is absolutely perfect with your beautiful solitaire. Such a pretty, pretty set, and it looks wonderful on you.
I pretty much always wear my wedding band under the “ERing” (because sometimes it’s an anniversary ring and not my actual ERing — LOL) part of my set, so that it’s closest to my palm.
I do this partially because of the old tradition about the wedding band being “closer to your heart”, which I think is a charming and romantic way of thinking about it. But mostly, I wear mine this way because it’s how they are most comfortable and the way I think my particular rings look best. I have seen many sets where the woman wore her wedding band on top (closest to the end of her finger), and they looked spectacular.
Really, there’s no universally right or wrong way to wear them. You should decide which you like best and which is most comfortable for you. And that’s what you should do. (FWIW, I think your set looks wonderful either way!)

My celebration stack occasionally has 3, 4, 5 or more rings and the e-ring might be in the middle. But generally speaking, I keep the e-ring on the outside of the stack.
Just my $0.02.

Wedding band first then engagement ring. But if you get a 2nd band then that would look good stacked on top of the ering.

I like the classic way with the wedding band on the bottom and the engagement ring stacked on top!

I prefer wedding band “closest to your heart,” which is what is most comfortable and looks best to me, but I’ve also heard the idea that the engagement ring is the promise and then the wedding band seals it.

Traditionally, you wear the wedding band closest to your heart, or at the base of your finger. That is what I am planning on doing.

Your set is so beautiful.
My wedding band goes on first, then e-ring.

I really like the look and feel of the wedding band on top. I lets me see the beautiful basket of my ering, but it also feels more comfortable for some reason. I wear it both ways – if the rings feel tight, I switch the wedding band to the top.

I wear the band closer to my palm bc it will never come off as for the ering it makes it easier to get off just the ering when i want to clean it (I clean it once or twice a day)
