@BeckyS0:  I actually thought it looked yellow too but it’s probably just the lighting. I haven’t ordered diamonds before through etsy but I would! I’ve ordered a lot of other things. And if you don’t like it, right back it goes! There’s usually a return policy.

First, you can totally get an asscher for you budget, here’s a very pretty solitiare, with a really nice 0.41ct diamond for just over $1000

If you’re interested in diamond alternatives, here’s a larger Asha stone in a pave setting for just over $600  ( I just picked a random simple setting, it may or may not be to your taste, but there are hundreds of other options)

If you’d like another white gemstone, there are topaz:

or white sapphire:

I could literally spend all day hunting for you, but the point was that no matter what your budget, there IS a way to get what you want.

As for stacking rings, one of my favourites is http://www.gemvara.com.  There is a whole section dedicated to stacking rings, and they are totally customizable, with like 9 different metal choices and almost 30 different gemstone choices.

Etsy is a good place and try Ebay… you will be suprised at what you can find for a fraction of the cost… Found my wedding bands on Ebay all three of them for $225 and found my Fiance band on Etsy from an Estate dealer for $499. Don’t be afraid of Estate Dealers and even Pawnshops, you might be suprised….
