(Closed) Staggered mailing of invites?

I think it’s probably okay because no one will be comparing. If you send it to two people that know each other at different times they might talk and be hurt that one got an invitation and the other didn’t, but if you get all the addresses from your FI’s side of the family and your mom’s side of the family and send those out in a big batch, then do another big batch once you get all the addresses from your dad’s side, it will probably be fine.

We staggered our invites…we sent them to family first, and then to friends and coworkers. The reason we did that is because our family had to travel from other countries, so we wanted to give them as much notice as possible. Our friends and coworkers weren’t traveling far, so didn’t need 6 months notice.

I agree with PP – send them in batches!
