So our oven went dead on us a few weeks ago, my Darling Husband is able to get a new oven through is work for a very low cost. The thing is we have a white fridge, and white dishwasher, the old oven was white with a black top.
Do you think if we got a stainless steel oven it would look bad with the white fridge and white dishwasher? We don’t plan on upgrading the kitchen or any of that while we are there, as we only plan on staying in the house for another year or so.

Ummm… we have a white stove, a stainless steel french door fridge, and a black dishwasher. Doesn’t bother us at all!

We have a stainless stove/oven and fridge and white dishwasher. Hey, it works! One day we will replace it, but in the meantime, I forget they don’t match 😉

Nah, I really don’t think it matters! Esp. if it will save you money.

go for the stainless! it will be one less thing the new owners will have to update when you leave.

We replaced our fridge and stove in our house, but left the off white dishwasher b/c it was brand new when we bought the house! It absolutely does not bother us. We update it when we can!

Ya know you can buy “faux” stainless steel paint to paint the dishwasher and fridge if you wanted to. Looks just like stainless steel but its not magnetic.

Oh good thinking! I didn’t even think of it that way, I was just thinking new owners would think we didn’t update anything but the stove, but your right, if the stove is there already, one less thing!

Appliances are expensive and everyone realizes that. It’s no big deal at all if they don’t match.
We are going to update from a electric range to a gas range within the next year and I fully plan to buy a big, beautiful stainless stove, despite my other white appliances.

Go for what you want despite what you already have. If it needs updating later, you’ll can change that too, if not, it doenst look bad mismatched.

Personally, I could care less if stuff like that matches in my kitchen. No, I don’t think it will look bad.
