I’m trying REALLY hard not to look at it. We have our first shower this weekend & another one in a couple of weeks. It is so tempting. I did see a couple gifts because we had to update some stuff, and the first 2 items said FULFILLED in bold caps. Does it count as cheating if I didn’t MEAN to see it? That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

My shower is not until April 26th and we just finished our registry this past weekend…I am already stalking it even though I KNOW no one will buy anything until the invites go out the end of this month 🙂  I keep checking to make sure that nothing is being discontinued, if its on sale, and just to look at the stuff we picked and hope we get it 🙂

I did this A LOT after we first sent out the save the dates (with the web site information on them). I’m a little ashamed to admit that I’ve started doing it again now that my bridal shower invitations have gone out.

I’m stalking my registries… I have had 1 thing purchased, and ever since then, I keep checking, even though nothing else has been bought 🙂

The first time I saw something bought I think I had a heart attack I check it entirely too much. My shower is a surprise too so I know I’m going to blow it.

I stalk all 3 of my registires daily. My shower isn’t even until May, no one has any reason to be buying gifts this early, but I do it nonetheless. This past weekend the very first item was purchased-and it was my KitchenAid stand mixer- I squealed and almost had a heart attack. Now I must patiently await its arrival…

I think its only natural, although I used to make fun of my sister when she got married for doing it. I was just reading about a website you can sign up for that will help you limit online addictions. Basically you sign up and type in the sites you want limited, and then specify how often you are allowed to check them. So if you want, you can tell it not to let you back for a few hours.

I’m guilty.   It used to be sporadic, but it has goten to be daily.  My first shower is in a few weeks, so the closer it got, the more regular my checking got.

I’m guilty too!!! My husband and I used to check the site together haha. But there’s still the surprise element because we don’t know who bought what.

I definitely stalk it, especially since my shower invites have gone out. I use the "I am adding/deleting" excuse as well, ladies, and that is all it is, an excuse! Yes, I think of things I want/need at random times and go to add it before I forget, but I also check all the numbers to see what has been purchased lately. My Fiance thinks it is ruining the surprise (he also doesn’t want us to use any of our wedding gifts until after the wedding), but I can’t help myself! I have always been nosey like that!

I must confess… I just checked mine again. Is anyone else running into the "RSVP’s have come in, but nothings been purchased" issue? I have a worried feeling that people aren’t going to get me gifts from my registry, which makes me sad cuz we REALLY need some new sheets.

How soon/late did people start buying stuff off your registries? Do you get an email is something is sent to you (vis USPS or UPS)?
