    Hello date twin!

I would personally stamp before, but it depends on how intricate your stamp is and if you’re planning on embossing.  If your stamp is relatively easy then you could do it after (and definitely after if you’re going to emboss).  Mine was very intricate and our return address, so it had to be legible and the paper bled the ink.  I ended up designing the return address image in Illustrator and printing it instead lol.

I’d stamp first. That way if you mess up a stamp you don’t have to address the envelope all over again.

i would stamp before.  other wise, you’ll end up messing up on addressing some of them and end up stamping more than you actually need to (including the mistake envelopes)

Wow, i never thought of this.

We have a return address stamp, and i’m guessing i’ll probably stamp 1st, just to save some time.

OR BETTER YET – i’ll Fiance to do it – yeeeeees, perfect plan 🙂

@bells:I didn’t stamp them, but I put a wax seal. The seal made a bump, so I addressed first. (The addresses came out all wonky if I tried to write over the bump.)

With a stamp, it shouldn’t matter. I stamped half before addressing and half after, but it was just a return address stamp, not a nice decorative one like you’re doing.

I’ve just done my Save-The-Date Cards before, but I did the address first. I was much more likely to mess the address up than the stamp. I guess it would depend on where your strengths lie :).

I just finished up my invitations.  I stamped first because it seemed to be the easier part.  In hindsite it might have been better to address first and stamp second because I had far fewer messed up stamps then addresses.  On the other hand, I would have been more upset to have to re-do a good address because of a messed up stamp , so I stick with my original order.  🙂

@ClairDarling:I’m confused. But that means that you stamp all the envelopes –even the mess up ones. (I did this and threw out 6 envelopes that were already stamped.)
