I’m not sure what etiquette says, but I’m doing the same thing on the invitations for our home party. I feel a little weird doing it since people will get them before we’re married, but we’ll be married by the time the party rolls around so I’m going for it. Are you waiting until after the wedding to send out the thank you cards? If so, I don’t see why you shouldn’t!

Sounds like a good plan! If I remember correctly, you have something like 6 months or a year or something to send out thank you cards, so you could always wait until after the wedding to send them all out at once. I like your plan, too though 🙂

I’d wait to use your new name until after the wedding.  If you use it now people may think that you’re already legally married and/or some people may think it’s a ettiquite mistake.  Better to wait.

I would go ahead and write them and put them in the mail right after the wedding.  That way you can use your new address labels.  People will not be waiting for their thank you notes until after the wedding.

You have 2 months to get thank you notes out.  One time one of my FH’s colleagues took 4 months to get out their thank you notes… I thought it was a total faux-pas.
