I took our wedding invitation to the post office to price it and it turned out to be .66 cents. I feel like I should just go with the wedding cake stamp, but they seem so outdated to me, like it was a cake from the 90’s. I know that’s silly, but is it dumb to put 2 of the wedding roses stamps and pay a little extra? I wish there were more options!

@vanessa7: Did you go to the Post Office website? If I am not mistaken there are more options online for the $0.66 stamp. Could try that.

Are any of your guests really going to care what stamps you have on your invitation? I wouldn’t stress over it and I wouldn’t pay more than I had to.

@vanessa7: I just picked up regular american flag stamps lol

I used Purple Heart forever stamps. No one called me up.

No one is going to notice. I definitely wouldn’t pay extra.

@vanessa7: Check out the USPS website. I didn’t like the wedding cake stamps either, so I got these cute flower stamps! I purchased the $.66 for the wedding invite envelope and the forever stamps for the response envelopes.

@SophieB3: Ah, that is cute!
I calculated it and we’d be spending $40 more if we did two of the wedding roses stamps so I’m just going to go with the 66 cent stamp.

Lol, American Bees consider yourself fortunate you have a choice…
In Canada we either have to go with the standard fare (whatever that might be at any month in time)
OR we pay oooooodles to have personalized Stamps made
I am soooo jealous that you guys have stamps for different occasions like Weddings to choose from !!

glad you decided to go with the cake stamps. i stupidly went with the cake stamps when we couldve easily gotten away with ONE rose stamp. i am 100% sure no one else cared.

@vanessa7: I thought the same way you did. So I decided to make my own stamps on a website called zazzle.com I was also able to choose how much postage was on the stamp. Here’s a pic.
