I bought “wedding” stamps at the post office. They were cute!

I considered Zazzle but the markup on the stamps are very high.  While I could have gone with Zazzle I decided to get the wedding stamps from the post office.  The extra money is better spent elsewhere to me.  The post office currently offers the traditional white roses and/or wedding cake.  They are quite pretty.

justwondering2015:  right now they have cute valentines ones that are coming out. They are hearts that say forever in them. I preordered them, they come out the 22nd. I figured they were cute a lovey but not too weddingy

No one is going to look at the stamps on your envelope. I honestly think its a waste to pay extra just for cute stamps. The outer envelope always gets thrown out by guest anyways. Stamps now in days are crazy expensive.

When I went to the post office they had wedding stamps so they didnt just say forever on them but I didn’t spend extra money on something most people won’t notice.

I used the only forever stamps I could find that were left in stores in Canada before the rate hike here

They were royal wedding stamps so they were kind of fitting.

I used Vintage Seed Packet forever stamps on my STDs and I plan on using the new 2015 wedding stamps for the invites.

We bought stamps with a bicycle and “love” from stamps.com. Unfortunately we didn’t weigh our save the dates beforehand. the postage happens to be 69 cents. So our stamps say “love 69”, tacky. Don’t make that mistake!

I wanted the wedding themed stamps until I found out how much more they cost. The forever stamp at the time was actually really cute and fit our style well so we got lucky and bought them. They were the “sealed with love” collection.

USPS has a lot of cool stamps! We picked the forever wedding themed first class ones, which have a white rose on them. If we run out, I look forward to using my forever Christmas themed stamps!

I designed custom stamps through evermine.com. They match my invites and I could create them in a denomination ($.91) that covered the full cost of mailng my larger/heavier envelopes (they offer various denominations of stamps and you can choose whichever you need). I am thrilled with them. I used evermine.com for my Save the Date envelopes, as well.

Also, I just want to shout out to Evermine’s customer service. There was a printing problem on my stamps, initially, and they fixed it at no charge to me. They were also friendly and answered the phone quickly, which means a lot to me.

I custom ordered mine from zazzle, using a photo of us. I needed more than a regular stamp and couldn’t bear the thought of sticking two stamps on the envelope, lol. We got a lot of compliments on them!
