I definitely don’t think you have to, but it’s nice if you can! I’ve received plenty without stamps before!

Yes, I think that it’s a nice gesture and also ensures that you will get the RSVP’s back much quicker. Then people don’t have to find a stamp and prolong mailing it!

I would have thought so..  I don’t think I have ever gotten an invitation without one.

I haven’t ever gotten an RSVP that wasn’t already stamped, it’s something we’re just including in our budget already. OH! And just a tip to anyone who might read this, make sure you look up if postage will be going up before your RSVP’s are due, a friend of mine had to include 1 cent stamps because they were going to be short and didn’t realize it, the postage changes just 4 weeks before her wedding 🙁

yes it is proper etiquette to put the stamp on it, however it like all other etiquette-related things seem to differ depending on the locale you’re located in. i think you’re more likely to get a response if all your guest has to do is say yes or no, if the have to do more, i fear you won’t get as good of a response rate.

I’ve always received stamps on RSVP cards and I always appreciate it.  I never have stamps on hand!

I’ve never recieved a rsvp card without a stamp…and I think you wouldn’t get nearly as high a response rate as you would if you put the stamps on them 🙂

I thought that it was something that was necessary… Unfortunately I didn’t even realize this until I was putting the invitations together. Postage can get expensive real fast!

I am a little late to the party but I think it is better to include the stamp. I think it is a nice gesture whether it is proper etiquette or not but also it makes it easier for the recipient.

How do you find out when the price of stamps will be going up?
