I’m debating about registering for one- if I do, I’m going with white or stainless, since I’ll have it forever. My kitchen’s currently painted red, but I’m thinking about teal or orange for the next round, so a pink one wouldn’t really work.

Tangerine for me – orange is my favorite color and I was more concerned about it feeling like it ‘belonged’ with my tastes and my other kitchen ware than the kitchen itself.

I had a white one for years and it’s almost ridiculous how much I love seeing that Orange Kitchenaid out every day 🙂

We went with silver/chrome just because it’ll be a while till we buy a home and I have no idea what color our kitchen will be! It was kind of sad, because I love bright colors so much. You will definitely want to leave it out – those suckers are heavy.

Cornflower blue. Blue is my favorite color and practically every kitchen thing I have bought (and household thing in general) has been blue and I don’t foresee myself changing my mind on the decor any decade soon, lol.

i was given an eggplant one and it fortunately worked well with our burnt orange kitchen. we added eggplant colored window sheers to match the standmixer!

I’m boring. I’m registering for Almond because I anticipate some moving the first few years of our marriage.

Raspberry Ice. Because it’s the closest to my favorite color — hot pink!

I have nickel (sort of like stainless but without the fingerprints) I say go for a neutral. Those things last for years and you might grow tired of aqua, orange, or pink in 20 years.  My first kitchen aid mixer was a handme down from my step-grandmother. She bought it in 1969 and it only just died 2 years ago.  So plan on having it for a looooong time.  (and this is coming from the girl who adores pink..took all of me NOT to buy the hot pink one!!)

I didn’t register for it but I received a hot pink mixer. Like, bright raspberry colored (not the light pink). I absolutely love it and the pop of color makes me smile.

If it clashes horribly with my future kitchen, it can always be stored in a cabinet. But I love seeing it 🙂

I want red. My pots are red. my towels are red. I just love red. If I can have a red fridge and stove, I would…. I have red walls in the kitchen.

I have the ice blue one.  I love it.  Don’t care if it doesn’t go with my kitchen.  It just looks so classic to me.

@thewheelsonthebus:  Hmm, now I’m reconsidering- orange is one of our wedding colors and one of my favorites, and I like how you said it makes you happy.
