I ordered a maagie sottero and my consultant said seeing that you love high heels you are the perfect height for the MS gown to avoid hemming. She said a 4″- 5″ heel would be perfect! I am 5′ 4″ btw.

So that would give you about 1″-2″ to work with

i’m trying to remember what they said but i want to say 5’11 or 6 is the height they are built for. I’m 5’8 and i had to take it up 2 inches. They said if i wore heels that it would be perfect but i was wearing flats that’s why i had to take it up.

I’m 5’3 and had 5″ heels on and it still needed a couple inches off

I’m 5’5 and ordered Maggie Sottero Miri. The salon said that because I would most likely be wearing 1-2 inch heels, I could get the short length and it would be perfect without alterations. Because I was not 100% on what size heel I would be getting, I got the regular/normal length.

I think I was 5’9″ or so with my heels on and it was a bit long still. I just had an adjustable hoop skirt so just made the hoop big enough that I didnt need to hem it – also made it bigger when I took my shoes off at the end of the night so it made it shorter yet!!

I am just under 5’4″.  I orderd a Maggie Sottero 3 inches shorter than standard.  They said I would need a 2 3/4 or 3-inch heel for it to be the perfect length.

So… if I do the math right (haha), That means that a standard MS dress is designed for someone around 5’10” WITH their heels…

They must vary because I am 5’7 and 3/4 and I did not have to have a thing done to my dress. I wore the Gatsby with no alterations, including length. I ordered the regular lenght and wore cowboy boots and it was perfect.

I am 5′ 9″ and wearing flats, my maggie is just a smidge long without a crinoline.

I’m 5’3″ and had to order the petite length (3 inches shorter). I am wearing heels though of 4 inches. (fiance is 6’3″- lol)…they knew this and still had me order the petite length after measuring me. Hope that helps 🙂 Oh, it’s Maggie Sottero’s “Trudy”

Hmm now I’m wondering if I should have gotten the petite. I’m just shy of 5’4″, and hadn’t decided on what height heels yet, but I felt like based on how the sample fell when I was barefoot, I could go with the regular height gown. However, my heels probably won’t be very high, since my fiance is only a few inches taller than me as it is. Luckily, the store has said I can come in any time to put the sample dress back on to check how accessories will look with it, so I will probably go back in when I’m picking out shoes. If I end up taller than my fiance, well, he’s used to it… 😉

I wish I had ordered the petite but it was not suggested. I will be wearing 4″ heels. It was just ordered so I won’t go in for a fitting until March/April and will find out then how much it needs to be hemmed…..

Im 5’4″ and I tried my Maggie on with 5″ heels and the length was perfect.  However I did add an extra petticoat to make the bottom fuller.
