I don’t think that’s weird to order… though I’d add my own milk because I don’t want too much or too little.  I don’t think the order matters, either.

I would order it as “a grande unsweetened iced coffee with nonfat and 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla/peppermint/hazelnut”. That’ll get you what you want ๐Ÿ™‚

And don’t feel bad. My normal order is a “Venti pike” or just a large coffee. But I work on the Hill and have to walk the walk when I am in certain circles.

Don’t feel bad for ordering uncomplicated coffee, lol.

For starters, it’s grande, not medium. You should get down the basic Starbucks lingo first. Beyond that, I’d probably just order a “skinny iced” in whatever flavor you want.

Sort of on topic but I’m OBSESSED with the mocha cookie crumble. We get Starbucks every morning and I drink it every day. It’s like 500 calories but oh so good!

Not at all! YOu just need to practice saying it. My SO always gets a venti non-fat 7-pump iced caramel latte with an extra shot of espresso. It’s quite the mouthful, but he has mastered it. ๐Ÿ™‚

@PinkMagnolias:  Yeah, I drink coffee VERY rarely, but when I do nothing like a cup of 89 cent black coffee from the gas station hits the spot. Not exactly a beverage snob here!

I use to work at Starbucks, so I can help you here.  Start with iced (if you want it iced), size (tall, grande, venti), followed by extra shots or decaf, milk choice, and then the extras, such as no whip, extra hot, light water, etc.  Honestly, we can figure things out no matter what order you tell us.  Don’t feel pressured there.  No matter what you order, there will always be a person who orders a much more complicated drink then you.  Like a venti, 2.5 shot of decaf, half packet of Splenda, three pumps of sugar free vanilla, and non fat milk at 170 degrees (she was a sweet old lady who ran in to our speaker once or twice) ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh god, do not even worry. Baristas have the weirdest drinks!

I used to work at Starbucks. By the time I left, my drink was a:

triple tall coconut non-fat no whip black and white mocha (1 pump mocha, 1 pump white mocha, 1 pump coconut.)
