Hello everyone!

I’ve been a long time lurker, but just jumped into my first project with Cherry @ SG. I just got my CAD back for a 18k marquise eternity band with GH 2x4mm moissanite with “V” styled prongs to match my engagement ring.

Hoping to get some feedback on if the CAD looks good, or if anyone sees any changes I should make?

beasmartcookie :  Welcome, fellow lurker! The ring looks nice. Do you have any pics of your inspo for comparison? Check out SparklingKate14’s CADs and posts for her ring that looks super similar to this one, just a little larger stones and different prongs. She did decide on the 3/4 eternity for comfort and I think I would’ve done the same. Just something to consider.

hm2012 :  Good to know! I might try for a band from them. My ring was finished and Grace sent two videos. But the face of the OEC is huge. She said she’s asking them to remake the ring for me, unless I would accept it (nope, please remake). So still waiting… Not sure how to share a video here. I tried but it didn’t work. Do I need to upload to YouTube?

alicewndrlnd :  yes I saw her rings, they are gorgeous! I sent them these inpo pics and requested the prongs to be more V to match the marquise on my engagement ring.

Thank you for the input about the 3/4 band, I had been struggling with that decision. I thought long and hard and wore a similar eternity band for a couple weeks to make sure I wanted a full eternity hahhaha hoping I don’t regret it. I just love the look of a full eternity πŸ˜…

hm2012 :

Thank you for the input! I actually had the CAD modeled after a cheap ring I wore to make sure I liked this design and I’m content with the thickness so I’m thinking it should be okay. I see what you mean about the comfort, it would be more comfortable thinner but the current 2.6mm does go well with my ering

hm2012 :  Oh. The video is not of my fingers! πŸ™‚ But yes, size 4.5 but I’m getting 4.75. The stone is a 7mm. I had an 8×6 but it felt too big… She still didn’t give me a height of the ring..

hm2012 :

so i I requested a video for a 7.5mm GH H&A and this is what Demi sent me .. I don’t think I really see the H&A .. should i request to have them custom cut it, would they do that?

HAve you worked with Demi before? I’m glad and thankful she was able to share me videos first before I really decide.

Here’s the video

I also was quoted $250 not including shipping for the 3 stone.. 4mm / 7.5mm / 4mm I think that’s a really good deal! 14k white gold

hm2012 :  oh wow! I love ovals too , pls share when u find out the cost!!

hmm now I’m thinking if I should just have my 4mm sides on my 3 stone ring.  lab diamonds ?  What do you think .. Demi said she will request to cut 7.5mm with thicker arrows. Would it be off if I use my side stones as lab diamonds and moissanite for the center? Ugh decisions

my inspiration photo ;p

hm2012 :  haha thanks! I decided I’ll stick with all 3 moissanite stones. I’m super excited now!!! Going to make my purchase right now and then Demi says 7-10 days she’ll show me a video of the new extra thick Hearts & Arrows!

I love your ring! I found that same ring pic on this thread and showed it to Demi about the arrows! So hopefully she gets it right. Do you have a video of that ring? If so would love to see! πŸ˜‰

I was going to have MoCo custom make a ring for me but they quoted me $1,025 for a Solitarie, and now that I got a quote for $250 for a 3 stone I’m even more happier! Haha. This is my replacement ring since I have previous lost my wedding set 3 years ago >< I love a good deal πŸ™‚
