    Definitely keep them longer, since they twist around so nicely!  I think I personally like the idea of the light gold spray paint, but that’s just my taste!  Some branch centerpieces work great with that “natural” look because they are already treated with a finish, or blanched or something.  But in your case, I do believe the paint would spice them up and make them elegant to match your color scheme and table cloth.  If you were going for a more casual table cloth, I’d say unfinished branches, but since your wedding seems to be more formal than, say, a rustic soiree, then I think the paint will dress them up well!  Great start!

    @cherrycoke: Yeah I think that works. It’s hard to say as as a PP said if you have them too short they’ll lose their twisteness so I take back what I said about the 2nd pic you posted being the right length. What shape tables are you having?
