I think those sound like really nice ideas! I dunno if you’re thinking about giving your BMs Visa cards to help offset the cost of their attire/makeup/travel or as just a gift, but you might want to give them something personal that they will be able to keep and think of you. I dunno, other bees might disagree… but I’m sentimental and if I were in someone’s wedding I would love to have something small to remember it. I bought my BMs each a pair of Kate Spade earrings in styles they all wear (some chandelier earrings, some simple studs) and i hope they will find opportunities to wear them out again.

I’m sure your moms will love the spa baskets, that sounds so nice and relaxing ๐Ÿ™‚

All the gift ideas sounds great…but I would personally opt for a more personal gift for my BMs… Being in someone’s bridal party is such an honor and it feels great to be appreciated in a personal way.

I think Moms will love your gift! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love the Visa gift card idea as I had done something similar. I gave all my girls  a gift card to their favorite restaurant (upscale restaurants in Philly) or their favortire store. I tried to tailor it to each girl. Being a Bridesmaid or Best Man is expensive so that’s why I wanted to get them something that they can use after the wedding and however they want to use it. They all loved it!

pretty pashimas.

I like the idea of giving them a visa card because that means they can use it wherever and make the choice as to whether it is to offset costs of being a bridesmaid OR for their own good fun.  They’re big girls, I’m sure they’ll do what they feel comfortable with!  I don’t see the need to personalize it with a specific gift card.  Maybe in your thank you card you can say “remember those shoes we saw that you loved?  ๐Ÿ˜‰ maybe this will help you get them” or something from like a personal memory with them…..yaknow?  ๐Ÿ™‚

we’re considering Visa GCs as well  – but be aware

There’s a $4.95 charge to activate the card (for the person buying them, not the user).

For some reason that’s really aggravating me.
