@anonymous678:  Yay for Clomid!  I’m in the middle of my first Clomid cycle.  The doc gave me 50mg (normal for them to start because they don’t want to over stimulate your ovaries) on CD3-7 and I did get some follicle growth so if it doesn’t work this cycle we’re going to 100mg next cycle!  Good Luck!

@Ms.Bookworm:  they usually like to start at 50mg to make sure you don’t overstimulate, you are at increased risk for OHSS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ovarian_hyperstimulation_syndrome) on Clomid especially at higher doses so doctors usually like to start at  50mg. I was being seen by a specialist and doing ultrasounds every other day to check on the follicle growth and check for OHSS etc so they were comfortable starting me off on 100mg.

Best wishes. If the hot flashes get you try taking Tylenol. Helped me a ton.
