I am about to have my baby girl in a few days and I keep talking to my husband about how I can’t wait to take her jewelry shopping with me! haha. We were talking about when I upgrade my ring again at our 10 year, and when I asked him if he wanted to go, he said, “just take Olive with you. She’ll have way more fun”. haha. I can’t wait to have a little girl to share my love of jewelry with!

My son is 2 and I have taken him with me to the jewelry store a few times, but it is always awful, he hates it and gets so bored haha.

I dunno, my grandmother was really into jewelry but it never really rubbed off on me.  When I was a kid I could never figure out why she thought it was so important.

@ElbieKay:  I think it skips generations haha. My great grandma AND grandma loved jewelry and I was the only grand daughter. I loved it too. I played in it sooo much as a kid. I was so fascinated by it. But while my mom appreciates jewelry, she does not have an obsessive love for it like i do. My great grandma left me all of her jewelry when she died, and while a lot of it is costume jewelry, I still play in it all the time. I open the big case she left me at least daily and try on the rings and necklaces and whatever else is in there.

@GelaMac:  I am the same way! haha. I try on my necklaces and earrings, but hardly EVER wear them. I am a ring lady for sure. I love them so much.
