@happybee15:  congrats!  I should be doing a transfer cycle soon, depending on when my clinic starts up again.  Just so you know there are a bunch of us undergoing fertility treatments on the thread Infertility POAS – vivid edition if you’re looking for support from people also undergoing treatment right now.

@happybee15:  congrats! So exciting. Wishing you all the best! I’m starting IVF as well. This will be my 2nd retrieval. First was 3 years ago. I’m doing estrogen priming so started estrogen yesterday. Starting tonight I do 3 nights of cetrotide.  I’ll call my clinic on CD1 and then start stims if everything is clear on my CD2. I’m hoping maybe one day next week. Keep us updated!

Good luck!! I found it really exciting to take action and go through the IVF process. I hope you are successful and can transfer soon! I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant with my IVF baby, and while it is less than ideal with the virus, it wouldn’t stop me either.

Hi! I am scheduled to start my first IVF cycle next week, assuming my next cycle starts on time. I get migraine headaches so the plan is to go straight to stimulation without down regulation. We are similar to you, we have been trying for six years, so really hoping this goes well! Good luck with your cycle.

Congrats! My husband and I have been trying for over 6 years, so I know how exciting it is to take a step forward!

We’re on pause right now, but we’ve done two IVF cycles – we ended up with 3 healthy frozen embyros. (We had more, but after transferring one and having a miscarriage, we decided to send the rest through testing.) I think we’ll move forward with an FET either next cycle or the one after that.

Just an FYI – you might have to go with freezing even if COVID isn’t a factor. Some women (including me) aren’t eligible for a fresh transfer due to ther hormone levels post-IVF. I didn’t know this was a thing until a friend who was in the same situation told me and I was glad to have a heads up, so just passing along the favor…

@happybee15:  Congratulations and best of luck with your cycle! We did our first ever IVF cycle this January and are finally gearing up for our first transfer next month. We faced a lot of delays along the way and COVID added some unforeseen complications, but I hope that your journey will be more straightforward. It might seem crazy to be trying to get pregnant at a time like this, but in our case, time is not on our side. All you can do is think through the pros and cons and make the best decision for your family. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to chat! “IVF is a marathon, not a sprint” is something that I’ve really had to embrace along the way.

@happybee15:  congrats and good luck! You’re lucky to be able to even get a retrieval – my clinic stopped all procedures and testing except retrievals for cancer patients waiting to start chemo. Not that I need it anymore – my first embryo is watching TV next to me and the second is due to be born soon, but I still feel bad for the people who were put on hold.

@happybee15:  Thank you, I appreciate that 🙂 I don’t know if our future baby counts as a rainbow baby since I’ve never been pregnant, but our TTC/Infertility journey has been one hell of a storm.
