I know, first world problem… Im starting a new job in the medical field and I hate the picture I took for my employee badge that I have to wear.
Ugh. Anyone else hate theirs? Make me feel better:(
I wish I could ask for a new one hah

No one really looks at those pictures anyway. Mine is flipped the wrong way half the time. Congratulations on the new job!

I feel ya on this! am not photogenic, but had to get the picture taken. It was horrible and to top it off they put it in the yearbook!
I got a blingy lariat and turned the pcture to face me. When the kids asked me to sign theirs, I wrote all over my face.

No one looks good in those sorts of pictures. I have a picture ID for my job and I absolutely hate it but everyone I work with hates theirs! We laugh about it and it’s not a big deal.

Lol this post made me think of when I had to go take my passport pic. I was cutting it so close to when I had to leave for vacation and I had completely forgotten about it so my mom called me after I left the salon and insisted I met her to go have the passport done,
I was on my home to blow dry my hair (I tried to save money back then during college years so I would get my hair highlighted then go home and blow dry it) well I met my mom there and my hair was SOAKING wet, I pulled it into a quick weird wet bun where the top of my hair was not flat on my head and had a weird bump that I didn’t notice until the picture printed. I looked so stupid and ridiculous and when I went to go show the cruise director my passport they almost didn’t let me on the ship bc it didn’t look like me at all. It was the WORST picture I’ve ever taken of me and I was stuck with it for years LMAOOO 😂😂😂👎👎👎

I hate mine as well so I turned it backwards in the holder 😂😂. At my company the badges we carry are for access into various parts of the building (the security kind you scan your badge on). Thankfully no one cares about seeing the pic.

flowerkat: We don’t have badges but they attached our picture to our e-mail and company messaging system. Mine is terrible! They say they update them every few years so I’m just patiently waiting and hoping they give me some notice…

It’s the law that you have to look like a serial killer on your work ID badge. You’ll be fine.

flowerkat: yep, mine is awful too lol. We had a retake day for new badges earlier this year but they ended up instead using our old photos on file…lol, no luck I swear.

Oh my God! I am in compliance with that law!!!! Plus mine shows up on all my emails, too. And it’s hideous.

LMAO! Oh man you guys are cracking me up😂 I feel a lot better!
Drizzle: Lmao! Well I definitely pass! 😅
I feel a lot better that I’m not alone here. Might have to invest in a cute lanyard so I can wear it low. Thanks for the laughs everyone!

I hate my current ID badge pic (I also work in the med field, I’m an RN).
The one at my old job was soooo much better. I was thinner, had a bit of a tan, and had the excited “glow” of a new nursing grad. I was adorable! 🙁 But, my new job is so much better than my last one, so I decided not to fret over the picture 🙂

OMG, I have the ugliest Staff ID picture ever, so I can relate. It was taken the day after a really bad haircut. >_<;;;

flowerkat: ask for a new one.

If it makes you feel any better, I went to get a passport pic taken a couple Years ago. Paid for it, got to the car, opened the envelope and screamed. I have never even a picture of me that bad. Head down, bad lighting, hair everywhere, weird smirk, lighting gave me major bags under the eyes…. even my dad said it looked like a meth addict prostitutes mug shot. Thanks dad. Lol.
